9. Be active
Be an active learner and When reading or listening to a lecture, try to engage with the material. This means rather than simply being a gift with the fabric, challenge it and yourself. Ask questions about what's being lectured, connect the material to your real life, compare it with other information you have learned throughout your life and discuss and explain this new material to other people.
10. Practice mental concentration tips
Try meditation and relaxing your mind. Keep a track of all the times when your mind strays away during a lecture and you disconnected. Say to yourself ‘’come back’’ or ‘’Be here now’’ and keep your focus uptight.
11. Set study goals
You can make your studying time more interesting by adding checkpoints and continually following them to make study sessions active and up to the mark. Set goals like you will complete chapter 1 and 2 in 1 day and then do it. It will build your confidence and you will be able to give more time to each subject and there will be less pressure.
12. Take short breaks
While you will suppose it is best to review for as several hours as potential, this can actually be counterproductive. If you were training for swimming, you wouldn't try and swim 24 hours a day. Likewise, studies have shown that for long retention of data, taking regular breaks really helps.
Everyone's completely different, so develop a study routine that works for you. If you study higher within the morning, start early before taking a break at lunchtime. Or, if you are additional productive at midnight time, take a larger break earlier on so you're ready to settle down come evening. Going out and taking vitamin D is also very important for a healthy brain.
13. Take snacks during a break
Generally, students skip their meals during their exam times to finish their syllabus on time but it is wise not to do that and eat proper food and never miss any meal infact eating snacks during a study break boosts up the sugar level in the body which helps in maintaining proper concentration. Drinking plenty of water is also important for the brain to function well so stay hydrated while preparing for the exam and during the exam as well.
14. Plan your exam day
Always remember that your result is your exam day because it reflects the entire time you have given to prepare for that subject thus making it important to plan the day beforehand to avoid any jargon during the paper. Make sure you get everything prepared well prior to of the communicating - do not leave it to the day before to suddenly notice you do not understand the means, or what you're supposed to bring. Check all the principles and needs, and set up your route and journey time. Also, take 8 hours good night sleep before an exam to increase the efficiency during those important 3 hours.
No matter how much you hate exams it is a part of a student’s life and that is why it is more important to give it your 100 percent and become an achiever. Believe in yourself. Cultivate a success mindset. Overcome procrastination, do hard work and never forget that the process is more important than the result, it is not going to be easy but it is going to be worth it.

Stay Organized with the timetable
It is really important that you study by making a timetable and it is not important to study a particular subject in the given time but you need to decide certain hours for every subject. You need to make sure that you carry the homework planner and timetable along with you always. The students should always submit their homework, assignments, and projects before the time so that they can get time for their studies. You should review the topics taught by the teacher every day whenever you come home. When you need to prepare for exams, you can enhance the timing of studies. Make sure that you don’t mug up the topics because that won’t help you in the long run. It is better that you keep making notes from the beginning to your session so that it would be easier for you to revise notes later. The people who believe in cramming might forget the answers during the exam and that’s why you shouldn’t follow cramming techniques ever.
Try to understand every topic
There is a number of students who have the habit of memorizing everything before even understanding it and that’s why the worse method to learn anything. It is really important that you understand the topic when your teacher is giving a lecture in class. After coming home, one needs to focus on revising it again by preparing notes. In case, you have any doubt about any topic or question, then you have written it down and ask about it to your teacher the next day.
